A 9-year-old Claiborne County boy was killed over the weekend after he ran into a car while riding his bike. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says Christopher Shearer, 9, was riding his bike Saturday afternoon down a steep hill along Dogwood Drive in Tazewell.
